The Gas multilayer pipe is made up of:
A. Inner layer: cross-linked polyethylene pipe PE-Xb
B. Binding layers: two adhesive layers bind the intermediate metal pipe to the outer and inner layer
C. Intermediate layer: aluminium pipe welded head to head longitudinally
D. Outer layer: RAL 1023 (yellow) stabilised polyethylene pipe
Multilayer Gas System is made according to the UNI TS 11344:2009
standard and it may be installed according to the UNI TS 11343:2009
alongside the UNI 7129:2009 standards. Ravani Gas System is a
product of Ravani’s vast experience over the years in the production of
multilayer systems for delivering fuel gas in household environments.
International certificates awarded over the years prove the reliability
and quality of this system.
The system, made up of multilayer pipes and brass press fittings,
provides extensive guarantees in gas installations for household
purposes. The characteristics of the system make it simple and reliable
for the installation of new plants and very practical for the restoration
of existing systems.
The system also includes valves, manifolds, active and passive control
and safety plants as well as installation equipment that make this
system a complete and exclusive product in the market.
The Gas System is used in delivery plants with a wide range of

This technical manual contains general information regarding the gas
delivery point and connection to the user.
All indications, both theoretical and practical, for the safe installation
of the household gas supply system by means of the Gas multilayer
pipe will be specified hereinafter. The joints of the multilayer pipes can
be provided through fittings for multilayer systems in compliance with
the UNI/TS 11344 standards.
The joining process, materials, equipments and tools used must be those
defined by the manufacturer of the multilayer pipes system, according
to the instructions and methods provided for in the instructions manual
specifically provided alongside them.
The fittings may be laid underground or buried on condition that they
are respectively inserted into a suitable well that can be inspected or
special box that can be inspected with a non-sealing cover. The joint
points at the fittings positioned in the wells must be suitably protected
against corrosion, according to the UNI EN 12954 standard provisions.
The soundness of the fitting must be verified before inserting the pipe
into the fitting.
